Loft extension, Peckham, London
This project involved the expansion of a private Client’s exiting Victorian property, which included the introduction of a new second floor master bedroom and en-suite with a connecting traditional staircase.
The architectural style of the new extension took the form of a contemporary structure, clad in standing seam grey zinc, with accompanying dark grey windows. The external styling suited the property and provided a contrast to the London stock brick and slate roof. The new extension was set back from the existing walls of the house to ensure it remained subservient and blended well with the existing colour palette of the Victorian house.
